We stopped in for a light refreshment because of this restaurant&#39;s historical importance. I ordered the Gouter which was tea (properly served) and a tarte citron. Oh my goodness! Not just the presentation but the flavours. What a treat! Well worth stopping for.

Le Select Montparnasse

Great restaurant. Wonderful and caring staff. Tasty food. Highly recommended for couples and family. Romantic cosy atmosphere

It was my last meal in Paris and I wanted to enjoy some Lebanese food.  The owner was charming and attentive.  The food was excellent and reminded me very much of traditional dishes my extended family would make. I loved everything, and if/when I come back to Paris, I will support this delightful establishment.

One of the few authentic Corsica-style restaurants in Paris is not ordinary at first. At the end of the garden, the other is the Louvre. The stone used for interior decoration dates back to the 17th century. Fore dishes, roasted peppers are recommended for fresh sardines and olive oil raw beef slices. Corsica cuisine is characterized by fish, so the main course is not to be missed by the restaurant chef&#39;s cooking of salmon or salmon. Dessert with dark chocolate.

I ordered an udon soup and it was delicious! But the waiters refused me the -20% fork offer, saying that I should also take a starter, thing that wasn&rsquo;t specified in the conditions while booking with the fork. So either there is a miscommunication from the fork, either the restaurant doesn&rsquo;t respect the agreement.

We stumbled across this road of creperies and each one was as busy as the next. We got the last table in this place and were not sorry and the crepes were great. The menu midi was 9.50 Euro for a savoury (buckwheat) crepe (ham and cheese or mushroom etc) and then a sweet crepe and a cider/wine or soft drink. Good value and fast service. Would come back again as the kids ate crepes in 3 places and rated these the best. They were surprisingly not keen no the chocolate crepe but perhaps it was dark chocolate

Lovely traditional d&eacute;cor. Smart and friendly staff, warm welcome from the waiter. We had a table just inside so we felt like we were outside but without the smokers (there are a lot in Paris). Great choice of food and good selection of wines by the glass. All the food was of a high standard, exactly what you would expect from a top Bistro. A little expensive but you are right in the middle of Paris. I would recommend.

A short walk from our hotel in this exciting district of Paris, this bistro served up the typically wonderful French faire. Treated Royally as we sat for a second time that week for our evening meal. The first time we sat indoors due to a rain that kept most outdoor tables wet . On the second food adventure we had the same exact food. The Pate was excellent along with the perfect small pickles and crusty bread We each enjoyed a steak plus frites. Madam was served two healthy small carafes of red while I kept to the sparkling waters. For desert we selected a warm apple tart to split with some heavy cream on the side along with coffees Our water was professional, charming and smiled a lot. Our thin steaks were grilled perfectly! The frites served hot and crisp Sitting outdoors enjoying the sun fall, dusk take over and the street lights take over was perfect. In a lively neighborhood. We were seated on the outside closest to the sidewalk. A great spot worthy of an extra charge if added for the street scene show. Excellent fun. A lazy mellow evening Highly recommended

I really enjoyed dining at Le Select, it has retained its authentic vibe from the early twentieth century where lines of people snaked outside the restaurant waiting to get in. The service was attentive. The food quality was superb. I highly recommend trying the Boudin Basque, which Basque sausage that came with a very unusual presentation. It was a pleasant surprise, and tasted great. I would go back to Le Select again, and highly recommend it.

Exquisite food, top service. The only pity is the ventilation system in the restaurant doesn&rsquo;t seem strong enough. The cooking smell stays in the restaurant.
